Covid-19 Pandemic Data Analysis Using Tensor Methods

Dipak Dulal; Ramin Goudarzi Karim; Carmeliza Navasca

Volume 3, Issue 1 , March 2024, Pages 17-44

In this paper, we use tensor models to analyze the Covid-19 pandemic data. First, we use tensor models, canonical polyadic, and higher-order Tucker decompositions to extract patterns over multiple modes. Second, we implement a tensor completion algorithm using canonical polyadic tensor decomposition ...  Read More

Volume 1, Issue 2 , June 2022, , Pages 72-83

In today's world, where speech recognition has become an integral part of our daily lives, the need for systems equipped with this technology has increased dramatically in the past few years. This research aims to locate the two selected Persian words in any given audio file. For this purpose, two standard ...  Read More

An Efficient Collocation Method for the Numerical Solutions of the Pantograph-Type Volterra Hammerstein Integral Equations and its Convergence Analysis

Hashem Saberi Najafi; Sayed Arsalan Sajjadi; Hossein Aminikhah

Volume 1, Issue 2 , June 2022, , Pages 61-71

In this work, we consider a collocation method for solving the pantograph-type Volterra Hammerstein integral equations based on the first kind Chebyshev polynomials. We use the Lagrange interpolating polynomial to approximate the solution. The convergence of the presented method has been analyzed by ...  Read More

Developing students’ educational abilities has always been one of the most urgent. The more fully a student's potential is realized, the more success a person will be able to achieve in life and career. One of the effective technologies for activating learning is the method of visualizing educational ...  Read More

Optimization of Fuzzy Zero- Base Budgeting

Salwa Abdou El-Morsy

Volume 1, Issue 4 , December 2022, , Pages 147-154

Zero-Base Budgeting (ZBB) is a very well-known method for the selection and management of budgets and is widely used by companies and government agencies. In this paper, a new method for modelling ZBB in fuzzy environment is described. Triangular fuzzy numbers are used for describing the imprecise budget ...  Read More

The modification of the generalized gauss-seidel iteration techniques for absolute value equations

Rashid Ali; Ashfaq Ahmad; Ijaz Ahmad; Asad Ali

Volume 1, Issue 4 , December 2022, , Pages 130-136

This paper proposes two modified generalized Gauss-Seidel iteration techniques to determine the Absolute Value Equations (AVEs). Convergence of the new techniques is established under some appropriate conditions lastly; several numerical examples verify the significance of the techniques.   Read More
